Privacy policy.
This policy explains what personal information the repera.ca website collects, why, and how it is protected. It applies to the website only; information collected in the course of a surveying mandate is governed by the land surveyor’s professional obligations.

Who is responsible
Repèra, arpenteur-géomètre, 212-A rue Dupont, Pont-Rouge (Québec) G3H 1P1, is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Guillaume Caron, land surveyor. For any question or request: info@repera.ca or 418 813-1800.
What we collect
When you fill out the contact or quote request form, we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- the information you choose to enter: type of service, address or lot number, message;
- the page and button through which you reached the form, and the type of device used (phone or computer), to understand how our site is used.
We collect no personal information when you simply browse the site.
Why
This information is used to process your request, call you back and prepare a quote. With your consent, given when you submit the form, it may also help us better understand who uses our services, so we can reach people who may need them. We never sell or rent your information.
How long
Requests received through the site are kept for 24 months after the last exchange, then deleted, unless they led to a mandate: they then become part of the professional file, kept according to the rules of the Ordre des arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec.
Who has access
Your information is read by the Repèra team only. To run the site, we rely on providers that may process it on our behalf:
- DigitalOcean (website server, located in Toronto, Canada);
- Resend (delivery of form emails, servers in the United States);
- Google (interactive map on the Contact page).
When information is processed outside Québec, we make sure it receives adequate protection, as required by law.
Cookies
The site works without cookies. Audience measurement and advertising cookies are off by default: they are enabled only if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. Your choice is kept for 12 months and you can change it at any time through the Manage my cookies link.
Your rights
You may at any time ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent or request its deletion. Write to info@repera.ca. We reply within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our reply, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Security
The site is encrypted (https). Requests are transmitted over a secure connection and stored on a protected server, accessible by password only. In the event of an incident involving your information that presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
